Terms of use
These are the terms on which ClariSpace is offered. They are short because the product is simple: it reads what you connect, it answers, and it never acts without your click.
1. The service
ClariSpace (https://clarispace.in) is a private workspace that answers questions from, and prepares work for, the services you choose to connect, and - in DevMode - works on software projects on your own computer. It is operated by its maker, Yashwanth, in India ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
2. Early release
ClariSpace is in early access. It is offered free of charge for now, within a daily allowance of use per person and a shared one for everyone, and features, limits and these terms may change as it grows. We will tell you inside the product before a change that affects you takes effect.
3. Your account
You need to be 13 or older and to give a real email address. Keep your password to yourself; what happens under your account is yours. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
4. Your data stays yours
Everything you type, attach, keep or connect remains yours. You give us only the permission needed to do what you ask - to read a service you connected in order to answer your question, and to prepare drafts and changes for you to approve. The privacy policy says exactly what is read and kept.
5. Nothing leaves without you
ClariSpace never sends a message, creates or changes an event, issue, document or sheet, or writes to any connected service until you press the button that does it. The button is yours; so is the decision. What it prepared for you to press is recorded in Trail.
6. DevMode
DevMode changes the files of the project you open in it as it works, and shows every change as it happens; each keeps the file as it was, so it can be put back while DevMode remembers the machine. It runs commands on your computer: tests, builds and similar checks on its own, and anything that installs, deletes, commits, pushes or reaches the network only when you press Run it. You decide what to open in it and what to approve. Keep the project under version control, and review the changes before you rely on them or ship them.
7. Recording meetings
Notes records from your microphone. Before it starts you confirm that everyone in the meeting knows it is being recorded; you are responsible for that being true, and for following the law on recording where you and they are - in some places everyone must agree before a word is recorded. Do not record anyone who has not been told. The recording is used only to write the note and is not kept.
8. Answers can be wrong
Answers, drafts, summaries, the Radar picture and the code DevMode writes are produced by language models from the material available to them. They can be incomplete, out of date or mistaken, and ClariSpace says so where it can. Read before you send, apply, ship or rely. ClariSpace is not legal, financial, medical or professional advice.
9. Fair use
Use ClariSpace for your own work. Do not use it to break the law, to violate someone else's rights or privacy, to send spam, to probe or overload the service, or to build a competing product from it. Each account has a daily limit on model usage; if you need more, ask.
10. Connected services
Google, Atlassian and the model providers have their own terms, and your use of them through ClariSpace is subject to those terms. Disconnecting a service in ClariSpace removes our access to it at once.
11. Availability
We aim to keep ClariSpace up and your data safe, and we take a nightly backup, but this is an early release run by a small team: there may be downtime, and there is no service-level guarantee. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
12. Liability
ClariSpace is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data or profit, or for anything that follows from acting on an answer; where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim - which, for now, is nothing.
13. Ending
You can stop at any time: disconnect your bridges and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may retire the service with thirty days' notice, during which you can take your data.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute belongs to the courts of India. Questions about them go to hello@clarispace.in.
